Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort

If you are in need of a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort might just be your best bet. Whether you just want a weekend staycation or you are traveling, this rustic resort can offer you convenience, relaxation, and lots of leisurely activities.

Our last photowalk brought us to the stunning resort of Maribago. The management was generous enough to take care of our lunch by the beach after a tiring but enjoyable morning of photowalk. We also got the chance to do a quick tour of their spa, outdoor swimming pools, and of course, the beach.

Thanks to Herbert of Drift Stories for setting this up. And to Kalami Cebu Master Carlo, again, for driving my friends and I to the resort (free of charge). Yey!

Here's a glimpse of the Amuma Spa. This is perfect if you just want to relax, unwind, and get the best of Filipino therapeutic healing traditions. It's also rightfully situated in a quiet and serene area of the resort.

Maribago has several outdoor swimming pools. Guests can enjoy swimming right outside their private suites or villas.

I personally love the serenity of their private beach. ♥ I'd choose white sand and blue-green beach water any minute over a giant swimming pool (but only during the day). But when we talk about night swimming, I'd prefer the pool! I'm scared of swimming in the beach at night.... because, possible jellyfish.. and other unknown creatures. Haha!

These are my blissful snapshots of the beach.

We also got the opportunity to check out the resort's man-made private island or sandbar across the beach. Something utterly unique I should say. Guests will be transported to the island in just a few minutes using that makeshift banca below that can fit about 30 people.

Maribago is a gorgeous place to stay in during the weekend. It can even be your home away from home! If you have an oozing budget to spare, you can stay there as long as you want. For sure, you will be delighted with the high-end accommodation and amenities. ;)
