Refreshingly Filipino Cuisine At Salinas Restaurant

Most people would say I'm a big eater. It doesn't show much but it's true. I eat a lot. Sometimes I eat too much! So weeks ago, when an invitation to dine at the newest restaurant came in, I jumped at the opportunity.

Salinas Restaurant Cebu

Salinas Restaurant by Golden Cowrie opened its doors to the public last December 9. It was a celebration of really good food that suits the taste of every Filipino and even foreigners.

Salinas signifies the finer tastes of life. It comes from the word "salinity" which pertains to salt - an essential component in any household as it enhances the flavor of any dish. Similarly, the first branch of Golden Cowrie was at Salinas Drive in Lahug, Cebu City.

As Golden Cowrie group reinvents Filipino cuisine in its newest restaurant venue, it gives tribute to where it all started - at Salinas.
