For Wikipedia, writer's block is "a condition primarily associated with typing, in which an author loses the ability to produce new work." Wiki also says that this has been a documented problem throughout history that affected even established writers.
For Blissful Snapshots, writer's block is a condition where one just stares at a blank computer screen for what seems like forever without batting her eyelashes. Sounds familiar? It sure is.
They say that when you love what you're doing, things would just be easy for you. Not necessarily. Because the truth is, even when I love what I'm doing, there are just some trying times when I need to think harder.
Not a lot of people would really want to read blah blah blah from a website right? I wouldn't want to rant on my blog because I want it to have a positive atmosphere all the time.
And this is not to say that we're purely trying to impress them. Readers deserve to read something of value. After all, they're taking some time to read and see what we have to say. So if I feel that I'm time-pressured because I still have a lot of other things to do, most likely, I won't be able to write anything at all.
YOU also inspire me. Yes you, if you're reading this. I'm always thrilled to know if there's even one single soul who gets to read my blog and actually says something about it. It's a writer's bliss.
What I do: A happy mom and wife equals a happy life equals motivation and inspiration. :) Go out there and explore. Inspiration doesn't have to be limited to our family only, there are a lot of people who can inspire us in so many ways, may it be our favorite celebrity or blogger, favorite person or famous personality, whoever!
